The Siberian Tiger seems to be facing the same danger. It has been estimated that there are only about 400 species left in the wild, and despite encroachment upon their natural environment does not seem to diminish. There are about 1000 species in zoos and reserves around the globe. These creatures deserve reverence and admiration, and do not deserve the reputation of being vicious man-killers. They usually avoid encounters with humans, and only one tiger in a thousand attacks people. Mostly, these are old or ill tigers that cannot chase speedy and agile animals.

Exotic For Sale -
farms, photo
There were times when different species of tigers could be found from Bali to the Caspian Sea. The destruction of natural habitat resulted in the disappearance of the Bali Tiger in the 1940s, the Caspian Tiger in the 1970s and the Javan Tiger in the 1980s. There were about 100,000 tigers at the beginning of the 20th century, and now there are only about 4,000 wild tigers. Over the past century, they have been hunted mercilessly and their natural habitat has sustained a massive devastation. Deforestation has caused their prey to leave, and they cannot hunt normally any more. An exotic for sale may come from farms that raise them exclusively; look for a photo of any online.
