Siberian Tiger Cub
A siberian tiger cub may sometimes frequent farms for the easy hunting of animals.
Over the last century, the population of these cats has reduced by some 95 percents and their number dwindles constantly. The only place where the animals still live in Russia is the Sikhote Alin reserve, and of course, they are kept in the zoos but still this animal is listed as endangered. There are as few as 200 species left in the wild, and about 250 captive animals. Statistically, about 40-50 species fall victims to poachers every year. Considering their low reproductive rate, this exceeds their birthrate, and at the rate we are going, there will be no wild species in some 20 years. Their body parts enjoy great demand in Asian countries and are used in folk medicines.
